After three years of writing at least one article each day, I have finally reached half a million page views over at EzineArticles. I have considered myself to be an article marketing expert for some time now, and have taught hundreds of people how to use articles to build their online businesses.
Writing articles is an excellent idea for many reasons, but it is the marketing of these articles that will make the difference in your bottom line. You can increase your income significantly by utilizing the power of reaching so many people with your information.
I offer an article marketing workshop to teach you how to write and market articles in a very short time. If you are willing to write just two articles each week, you will increase your visibility and credibility quickly. I look forward to working with you.
An e-course is a series of short lessons that teach your prospect some basic information on your area of expertise. I love e-courses. They have proved to be extremely profitable for me and thousands of others who are working on the Internet. When you are creating your own e-course, think about the topic, what else you will promote, and how you will follow up with the people who sign up to learn from you. You can download an eBook on how to write an e-course here.
On the Internet we answer questions and solve problems for others, so creating a course to teach our prospects more about what we know just seems to make sense. The difficulty can come from attempting to teach everything we know, or from teaching an overview of our entire topic. Instead, choose a small slice of your niche topic and share as much as possible in an e-course you will deliver over a short period of time. The idea is to go an inch deep and a mile wide with your knowledge.
Throughout your e-course, offer your readers an opportunity to learn more about each lesson you are teaching. You may want to tell them more about
In 2005 I came online, and by 2006 I was making some money. I now make my money exclusively online and have become quite successful during the past two years. I believe this is due to my persistence and willingness to always do a little bit more than is expected of me. Are you doing th same thing in your life?
I started writing articles and blogging because I knew that people would be able to read what I was saying and get some value from it. Every day, even if I had already written an article and posted to one of my blogs, I was willing to write just a little bit more. Over time that translated into more writing than many people do in several years. This also got my name in front of more people so that I could rise to the top of my field in a much shorter period of time.
You can do this same thing in your life and in your business. Be willing to do a little bit more each day, and see what happens. Your life is worth the best you can give, so get with it and accomplish all of your goals.
I have been teaching my '5 Pronged Approach' to building a business for two years now. These methods work whether your business is online of off, and will help you to reach more prospects than you ever could by offline techniques alone. The 5 prongs are:
blogging - your blog is your home on the internet, so let people know what you do
When I started this blog back in 2006 it was my intention to post to it at least three times a week. Somewhere along the way I was distracted by other activities, and I began to post less and less frequently. Now it is three years later and I intent to become active again.
So what was so important that I all but abandoned this blog? Building my online business was my goal, so I have posted almost daily to eBook Writing and Marketing Secrets. I also have a new blog, started in May of this year, call Big Money, Tiny List. These two sites keep me pretty busy.
I also teach new entrepreneurs how to get started online. This is my passion and I spend as much time as I possibly can helping others to be successful online. But the time has come for me to get back into a regular blogging routine here on this blog. Starting next month I will post twice a week to this site. Your comments are always welcomed.
I love the word coopetition. I'm not sure who coined this phrase, but I first heard it in 2006. The idea is that you cooperate with others, eliminating the need to compete. As I began to build my business online I saw how this worked very well.
Affiliate marketing and joint ventures are both excellent examples of how this concept works. Every month I promote someone online who has a similar product or service as what I have to offer. Instead of competing with them, I promote them to my prospects and earn an affiliate commission. There are so many people online, there is never a shortage of clients or trainers.
This concept also encourages your clients to see what works best for them. If someone on my list would be better off in someone else's program, I would rather be the one that made the referral. Wha do you think about this idea? Share any experiences you've had by posting a comment.
Today is Day 1 of my Power Blogging challenge. This method has worked well for me, so I decided to challenge my readers and Twitter followers (I'm @conniegreen on Twitter) to post every day for the next 30 days. This will get you into the habit of blogging and increase your traffic noticably.
Each post must be at least 100 words in length, and it is alright if you post two or three times on the same day if you get behind. You can also write a post and schedule it to appear whenever you like. This works well for those who are still working full time or have other commitments.
On May 5 simply let me know if you have met the challenge and I will add your name and blog url to my post that will appear on May 7. Leave a comment on my blog at Ebook Writing and Marketing Secrets to get started right away.
Article marketing was one of the first methods I used to build my internet business. For the past two years I have also used articles to market several brick and mortar businesses as well. Writing short informational articles, 300 to 400 words in length, will help you to reach new prospects and clients. This will work in any economy, with any type of business, charitable organization, or non-profit.
Keep your articles very simple and attempt to teach the reader something in every one. I make one point and then elaborate upon it throughout the article. The result is a clear and concise article that will be useful to your reader immediately. Yu can also solve a simple problem or answer a general question with your article.
To read some of my most recent articles, go to Articles By Connie. This will give you an idea of how simple it can be to get your informational article published on the internet.
Whether you have your own book for sale on Amazon or not, writing a book review there will be good for your business. You can search for books in your niche, read them, and then write an honest review of the book. Many people search for books regularly, and will appreciate reading your review to find out what you thought of it.
There are several secrets to building a strong marketing foundation with your blog. One is to make sure you are collecting the names and email addresses of visitors to your blog by providing a way for them to optin or subscribe to your posts. Another way, not talked about very often, is to write product reviews.
A product review explains the benefits of something you have purchased that has made a difference to your business. My best example is an eBook co-authored by Willie Crawford. This is a 247 page eBook that explains 20 ways to make $100 a day online now. When I first heard about this eBook, I wondered how many of the ways I was already using in my own business. I knew that if I could learn just a few new things it would increase my income significantly.
It turned out I was already using about 10 different ways to make money online, so I learned 10 new ways that I could add to my knowledge base. Within a few days I was implementing several of them, and I continue to increase my internet income each month based on methods I learned by reading this eBook.
